Fastener Manufacturing Experience Since 1998
Your Custom Fastener Engineering Partner
Custom screws developed around your drawings, assembly conditions and production requirements, from engineering review to repeat manufacturing.
Who We Are
Shi Shi Tong is a Custom Fastener Engineering Partner based in Shenzhen, China. Our fastener manufacturing roots date back to 1998. The current legal entity, Shenzhen Shi Shi Tong Metal Products Co., Ltd., was formally registered in 2009.
We work with engineers and purchasing teams to develop custom screws around material, geometry, tolerance and assembly requirements. Cold heading, multi-station forming and thread rolling are core processes, with CNC secondary machining selected where needed.
Our drawing and manufacturability reviews consider assembly clearances, loading conditions, critical dimensions and inspection requirements. We identify potential manufacturing issues and discuss suitable design or process adjustments before production.
Sample validation, agreed specifications and a project-specific inspection plan support the transition to repeat manufacturing. Tooling, quantities and delivery schedules are confirmed for each project.

Our Technical Team
Experienced technicians supporting custom fastener development, precision manufacturing, tooling, inspection and quality control.
Our technical team works closely across engineering, tooling, production and quality control to turn customer drawings into reliable manufacturing solutions.
What We Manufacture
Our focus includes extra-long, shoulder, custom and non-standard, titanium, stainless steel, high-strength and micro screws. Dimensions, material grades and manufacturing routes are confirmed for each project.
1. Extra-Long Screws
Custom extended-length screws for deep assemblies and long fastening distances. Length, thread coverage and shank geometry are developed around the application.
2. Shoulder Screws
Custom shoulder diameters, lengths and stepped profiles for positioning, spacing and moving assemblies, with tolerances defined for critical mating features.
3. Custom & Non-Standard Screws
Screws made to drawing with special heads, drives, threads, tips or shank features for assemblies that standard catalog parts cannot accommodate.
4. Titanium Screws
Custom titanium screws for applications requiring low weight and corrosion resistance, with material grade and geometry selected for the intended use.
5. Stainless Steel Screws
Custom stainless steel screws in specified grades, with head, thread and shank configurations tailored to the assembly and operating environment.
6. High-Strength Screws
Screws developed for specified mechanical performance, with material, heat treatment, surface finish and inspection requirements considered together.
7. Micro & Miniature Screws
Small screws for compact assemblies, with head dimensions, drive geometry and thread engagement tailored to limited installation space.
Materials We Work With
- Titanium
- Stainless Steel
- Carbon Steel
- Aluminum
- Copper & Brass
- Alloy Steel
- Material grades and surface finishes are reviewed according to application, tolerance and compliance requirements.
Surface Finishes
- Gold Plating
- Silver Plating
- Anodizing
- Electrophoresis
- Zinc-Nickel Alloy
- Polishing
- Red copper plating is also an option. Suitability depends on the substrate, pretreatment, coating thickness, thread fit, appearance and corrosion requirements.
Engineered Beyond Standard Fasteners
We focus on projects involving special lengths, complex geometries, demanding materials, secondary machining and controlled tolerances. Instead of simply supplying an existing part number, our engineers review how the custom fasteners will be manufactured and consistently reproduced.
- Complex and non-standard geometries
- Special materials and application requirements
- Cold heading with CNC secondary machining where required
- Sampling, validation and repeatable production
How We Approach Custom Manufacturing
A custom fastener project begins with understanding the application, not simply copying a part number.
Drawing & Application Review
We review how the fastener will be assembled, the loads it may experience and the conditions in which it will operate.
DFM & Material Evaluation
The dimensions, tolerances, material, finish and critical features are evaluated for manufacturing feasibility.
Process & Tooling Planning
The manufacturing route and tooling are selected according to the geometry, quantity, and dimensional requirements.
Sampling & Mass Production
From prototype validation to quality-controlled repeat production with documented specifications and traceability.
Our engineering review may include:
- Tolerance feasibility
- Material selection
- Manufacturing route
- Inspection requirements
- Surface finish evaluation
- Thread and drive selection
- Tooling requirements
- Cost and lead time
